|
David Kinsaul, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer David Kinsaul, FACHE, joined Dayton Children's as president and chief executive officer in July 2003. Kinsaul came to Dayton from Children’s Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. He succeeded Laurence P. Harkness, FACHE, who retired in August 2003, after leading the hospital for 21 years as president and CEO. Before coming to Dayton, Kinsaul served for 14 years as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Children’s Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, he was responsible for directing the daily operations and policy decisions of an academic pediatric health system, consisting of a 240 bed children’s hospital, pediatric specialty clinics, satellite surgery and outpatient clinical facilities, and a primary care practice management company. A graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Kinsaul also earned his master’s degree in public health administration from Tulane University. He is a native of Alabama and was raised in Mobile. He and his wife Beth have been married for 33 years and have two adult daughters. |
