K99.1FM Annual Cares for Kids Radiothon to benefit The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton
Radiothon from Monday, November 23 to Wednesday, November 25, on K99.1 FM

K99.1FM’s Cares for Kids Radiothon to benefit The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton will be broadcast live from 5:00 am on Monday, November 23, to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, in Dayton Children’s lobby.

Nancy Wilson and Steve Kerrigan, morning-show hosts of “Nancy and Kerrigan” on K99.1FM, will broadcast their show live from the main lobby at Dayton Children’s during the Radiothon. They will share patient stories and information about Dayton Children’s.

In 1998, the Children’s Miracle Network started the Radiothon as a fundraising opportunity for children’s hospitals. Locally, Dayton Children’s partnered with K99.1FM to organize a Radiothon for the hospital and the station has been very committed for the past eleven years. Since K99.1FM began airing the radiothon, they have raised over $1.8 million for Dayton Children’s.

Dayton Children’s invites anyone to help with collecting “Quarters for Kids” to raise funds for the radiothon. These are volunteers who ask their co-workers, family, friends and neighbors for their spare change or to make a donation. “Quarters for Kids” can represent businesses, schools and organizations. You can drop off your donations to Dayton Children’s or call the hospital development office at 937-641-3406.
